EMT is
a national medical training institution offering
a range of courses including the Rugby
Medic Club “Power of Prevention” Programme.
Our Head Office is based in Westlake, Cape Town.
Our courses are registered and recognized by the
Department of Labour, Health Professions Council,
Resuscitation Council and seta.
Training is provided by our highly qualified instructors
who are continuously being updated and re-evaluated
to ensure crisp knowledge of the latest techniques
and protocols. The instructors all have experience
in the emergency medical environment and are all
currently treating patients on a regular basis.
This enables us to recount numerous actual events
to students, making the course more “alive” and
realistic. Coupled with realism, we use humour
and interactive teaching techniques to maintain
the students’ interest, whilst never compromising
on professionalism.
EMT is proud to be associated with the Chris Burger/Petro
Jackson Players’ Fund. EMT is privileged to play
a role in making the game of rugby safer for all.
