FRIKKIE NAUDE
Frikkie Naudé is the deputy Chairman of the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund and also the President of the Stellenbosch Rugby Club.
He was born in Elliot in the Eastern Cape on the 23rd August 1952. matriculating at Grey College in Bloemfontein.
He first studied at the University of the Freestate where he played rugby for Shimlas and Free State. He completed his studies at the University of Stellenbosch where he also played for Maties.
He then went onto play rugby for Villagers and Western Province. He was also a team mate of Chris Burger who was catastrophically injured and died during a Currie Cup match in Bloemfontein. The Chris Burger Fund was founded because of this incident.
He is the Chairman of Intertechnic, a company representing Pilatus Aircraft Company from Switzerland. Their head office is based in Stellenbosch with offices in both Pretoria and Kimberley.
He is the owner of a wine farm in Stellenbosch called Yonder Hill and Olyfberg, an olive farm in the Robertson district.
Frikkie is married to Danila and they have two children Nicola and Daniel.
