Golf day photos now posted!

Another highly successful Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Players' Fund Golf Day has raised thousands of rands for injured rugby players.

The event, held at the De Zalze Golf Club near Stellenbosch on Thursday 4 February, was staged in perfect weather and saw a number of Stormers and former Springbok rugby stars, as well as members of the Cape Cobras cricket team, make it a day to remember.

Great thanks must also go to former Bok FC Smit, whose company, Thorburn Security Solutions, proudly sponsored the event.

Once again, a number of former Springboks lent their support by taking on the beautiful De Zalze layout, including Wayne Fyvie, Christo Ferreira, Chester Williams, Tiaan Strauss, HO de Villiers and of course Fund chairman Morné du Plessis.

But it was the SARU team of Christo Ferreira and referee boss Andre Watson who walked away with the inaugural floating trophy at the after-event prizegiving.
