| GOLF DAY 2008 |

The annual fundraising golf day was held on the 8th April 2008 at the magnificent De Zalze Golf Club in Stellenbosch. The full field of golfers enjoyed the company of the Vodacom Stormers as well as the world renown golfer David Frost. A record amount of R100,000 was raised on the day.

The annual Golf Day, was held at the Rondebosch Golf Club on Wednesday 28th March 2007, to raise money for the Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Players’ Fund. There was enormous spirit from the Stormers players supporting this wonderful cause and this helped uplift the spirit of those players who ended up in the rough.

There was hardly a slip in the putts or the chips as a group of altruistic and talented celebs and corporates tackled the fairways and greens in the annual Golf Day held at the Rondebosch Golf Club on Friday 24th March 2006, to raise money for the Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Players’ Fund. And when the golfing wasn’t that great, the enormous spirit of the players supporting the cause was enough to carry everyone through the bunkers.

| LAUNCH DEMONSTRATION 2005 |
|
One of the features of last week's 2005 Fund launch held at Villagers was a simulated injury demonstration by Rugby Medic Club graduates. Guests were given a full demo on how medics have been trained to handle serious injuries on the field, the important role that is played by the Spine Line and emergency response services supplied by NetCare, and the effectiveness of the 911 helicopter in ensuring that seriously injured players are transported to treatment facilities in the quickest possible time. In another highlight, SA Rugby handed Tubby Teubes of the Fund a cheque for R 2 350 million - an annual grant to the Fund, which is SA Rugby's official social responsibility project.

The Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Players' Fund took part in the sports expo at parliament recently that coincided with the sports ministers budget speech. Members of parliament were impressed with the work that the Fund has done in recent years and expressed their encouragement and support for Fund activities.
