| The Chris Burger/Petro Jackson Players’ Fund
has introduced a programme called The Rugby Medic Club, where
individuals are taught a four module first aid course, adapted
to concentrate on diagnosing rugby injuries, specifically
pertaining to head and spinal related injuries. |

| These courses are offered to individuals at
senior schools and clubs, on a complimentary basis, with the
costs involved being borne by the Fund. Where the school or
club is not in possession of the required essential equipment,
this will be provided at no extra cost, i.e. trauma board,
head blocks, spider harness and stiff neck collar. |
